TU has an awesome photographer. Don’t worry, I’m getting a haircut.

I’m a multimedia reporter currently working as an associate editor at Industry Dive, where I work on the Waste and Smart Cities verticals. Since starting in June 2017, I’ve spent some time looking into solid waste management in Baltimore and monitoring Scott Pruitt’s Environmental Protection Agency by tracking the Superfund and how EPA is enforcing certain regulations regarding air quality.

Before graduating and starting at Industry Dive, I worked as editor-in-chief of The Towerlight, an independent, award-winning, student-run newspaper based out of Towson University. At the same time, I worked as a correspondent for USA TODAY College, where I wrote breaking news and stories about national politics, science and college culture.

I’ve also worked as a national digital content producer for TEGNA, where I curated and produced online news for over 45 TV stations across the country.

Before it got shut down, I was a freelancer and former intern for Baltimore City Paper. They let me do environmental and political reporting.

In the past, I’ve had the opportunity to do some really, really cool stuff as a part of the Online News Association Student Newsroom (In Denver!) back in Sept. 2016.

And I completed internships at Circa, where I did some original reporting, a lot of research help and a pretty good amount of aggregation reporting. At WMAR-TV, Baltimore’s ABC affiliate, I worked with the digital team, creating original stories for web and producing daily content. I’ve gotten to do some freelance stuff for them since then, too.

I graduate from Towson University with honors and a degree in journalism and environmental science & studies. My portfolio can be found here and my resume can be found here.
